You'll be spoilt for choice at the many restaurants in and around Senggigi with dining options ranging from fresh seafood and imported steaks at some of the better restaurants, through to cheap and tasty local fare at the  roadside stalls and warung. Choices on offer include Thai, Korean, German, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, French and many other international cuisines and Asia-Fusion styles not to mention our own spicy Lombok and Indonesian specialties.

Square Restaurant, on the main street, has a deservedly good reputation for fine dining with Delicious dishes created by Executive Chef, Made. Specialties include Foie Gras, imported steaks, fresh and innovative seafood dishes and an out of this world dessert menu. There is also an upmarket and good value Chinese menu. The restaurant has a temperature controlled wine cellar and one of the best stocked bars in Lombok. Imported wines, Cuban cigars, beautifully presented meals, efficient and friendly service and top quality produce are all hallmarks of dinning here.

Asmara Restaurant, also on the main street, has been a firm favourite for many years. The comprehensive menu offers International fare including tasty steaks and fresh seafood, as well as many German and Indonesian specialties. Freshly baked breads, homemade yoghurt, organic herbs from the restaurant garden and fresh local produce set the quality of Asmara apart from the rest. Children are well catered for with a special menu and a children's play area and there's also a separate bar and billiards room. Every Friday night, Asmara hosts "Stammtisch" where guests are welcomed to join the communal table and make new friends while enjoying popular acoustic music.

The Meru at The Chandi in Batu Bolong is a small and lovely restaurant located right on the beachfront. Newly opened in 2012, the restaurant presents quality international, Mediterranean and Asian fusion cuisine with local fair. Fresh seafood is a specialty and the atmosphere is very romantic.

Cafe Alverto, on the beachfront at the southern gateway to Senggigi, is a popular Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine and fresh seafood dishes. Guests can enjoy tasty pizzas from the wood. fired oven, freshly made pasta dishes and more, together with full bar facilities. Open all day, Cafe Alberto has lovely pool area where guests are welcome to spend some time relaxing before or after a meal.

De Quake, located in the Art Markets, is a great value for delicious Thai and Asian influenced meals and seafood as well as tasty all day snacks and fabulous cocktails. The contemporary surroundings overlooking the beach invite lounging while the upstairs restaurant is perfect for dinner. Get there for sunset and enjoy arguably the best Strawberry Margaritas in town.
